On 27 September Young Guns Media organized the media launch of the National Health Laboratory Project. This project aims to upgrade laboratory facilities and build capacity of National Health Laboratory staff. The project is supported by the French Development Agency AFD (22 million Euro) and the EU (5 million euro). Institut Pasteur and Fondation Merieux provide technical assistance.

What have we been up to?
In 2017 and 2018 we developed and ran two anti-betel campaigns, in collaboration with the People’s Health Foundation, the Ministry of Health and Sports and Vital Strategies, which funded the campaigns. The results of the post-campaign survey are now known.
We managed the public relations for the launch of the Myanmar Trade and Investment launch, in early March 2019. Shortly after we also provided PR services for the first stakeholder symposium of the National Export Strategy, at which Vice President U Myint Swe was a keynote speaker. 2018 was a busy year for Young Guns Media. We developed and managed several public awareness campaigns, finished a 11-video project for GIZ and managed a slew of PR events. All across Myanmar we also filmed 10 short documentaries for FHI 360, about a wide range of issues and the organizations that address them. See two examples below.
Easy Microfinance is a company that provides loans to small, often female, entrepeneurs. It has quickly grown over the past years and now provides loans to thousands of clients from its 21 branches.
